David Wendelberger, Musical Theatre Accompaniment and Public Relations, received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting from the Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University and his Master of Fine Arts in Acting from Michigan State University. At each of these institutions he has acquired multiple credits as an accompanist as well as musical director.

He worked in Chicago as a freelance accompanist and vocal coach for actors and singers. His work has assisted numerous performers with their audition process from selecting music, making appropriate cuts and coaching the song. An artistic collaboration with Jessica Gisin, cabaret singer, developed for over a year with performances at Second City, Stage 773, and Public House Theatre. He is certified in Unarmed and Single Sword Stage Combat techniques and has worked professionally with Navy Pier Entertainment in The Buccaneers. Highlights as Musical Director in the Department of Theatre include Peter Pan,Carrie: The Musical, and Hair.
