Mark Colson received his M.F.A. from the National Theatre Conservatory, his B.F.A. from Webster University – Conservatory of Theatre Arts and Studied with the British American Drama Academy and Yale at Oxford University.  

Mark will be playing Kurt in the World Premiere of THE GRAVEDIGGER- A FRANKENSTEIN STORY by Joseph Zettelmaier at Williamston Theatre.  Mark most recently was seen on TV in LOW WINTER SUN on AMC, guest starring opposite Mark Strong.  He recently played the title role in CYRANO DE BERGERAC during the 2013 -2014 season at MSU in the Fairchild Theatre.  He played Iago in OTHELLO with The American Shakespeare Collective.   He completed filming for the independent feature THE WHISPERER IN DARKNESS, by H.P. Lovecraft, that has been screening nationally and internationally.   Other films include MARKED, FLAGS OF OUR FATHERS, DEMOLITION MAN and PASSED THE DOOR OF DARKNESS, which Mark co-wrote.    TV roles – BONES, PARKS AND RECREATION and Recurring roles on JUSTIFIED, HEROES, INVASION, ANGEL and THE DAYS OF OUR LIVES.  Other TV credits include MADMEN, LIE TO ME, MEDIUM, MY OWN WORST ENEMY, CSI: NY, KING OF QUEENS, GILMORE GIRLS, ALIAS, STAR TREK –VOYAGER, JUDGING AMY, PROFILER, GROUNDED FOR LIFE, WORKING, EVENING SHADE and CARNIVALE.   Mark has completed two audio books, LONGINUS and MYRRIDDIN as well as the radio plays (on CD), THE SHADOW OUT OF TIME, THE DUNWICH HORROR, THE CALL OF CTHULHU, THE CASE OF CHARLES DEXTER WARD and THE COLOUR OUT OF SPACE for the H.P. Lovecraft Society.   

Other theatre credits include Theatre Banshee in Los Angeles, where he played Putnam in THE CRUCIBLE, Mick in THE FIELD and Slim in OF MICE AND MEN, for which he received an Ovation nomination.  Mark has performed at The Denver Center, The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis, The Odyssey, The Hudson Theatre, The Sierra Repertory Theatre and The Boarshead Theatre.
