The Student Production Series is a student-driven outlet for the creation of innovative theatre in the MSU Department of Theatre. Students are encouraged to express themselves through directing, acting, design, and production in a collective, experimental atmosphere of trial and error. Through this production venue, students are given the opportunity to think imaginatively in order to achieve their vision for storytelling on the stage.

Student Production Application

Student Productions - Spring 2016

by Patrick Marber

Directed by Grace Hinkley and Elijah El

Four lives intertwine over the course of four and a half years in this densely plotted, stinging look at modern love and betrayal. Dan, an obituary writer, Alice, a stripper, Anna, a photographer and Larry, a dermatologist all meet through interesting circumstances. This sets up a series of pass-the-lover scenes in which this quartet struggle to find intimacy but can't seem to get closer.

Performances will be held in Studio 60 Theatre at the MSU Auditorium
